JuneteenthICT weekend of events will take place at the Historic McAdams Park

Join us as we celebrate the Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Competition of Wichita, empowering young women to embrace their unique talents and strengths. This competition is more than just a platform to showcase African American youth in our community – it’s about fostering high self-esteem, encouraging creativity, and building bonds among participants.
Through authenticity and service, we recognize the leadership potential of these young women and celebrate their contributions to our community. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to support and uplift our future leaders.

The winner of Miss Juneteenth ICT will earn scholarship dollars, serve as a role model for her community and have the chance to expand her platform across the state of Kansas.

Our goal is to help leaders to lead the charge in making a difference in the lives of people and in tackling the most critical changes in our community.  We’re seeking individuals who desire to be change makers within their organization, church and community.

The program will include interactive learning, opportunities for self-development and improvement, expert guest speakers, reflection, and assessments.

This is a partnership with CM Consulting and Development Services and Kansas Leadership Center.

In addition to the breakfast, attend a series of thought-provoking panel discussions, covering topics such as destination travel, mental health awareness, and newsroom coverage of race. Delta Jazz Brunch,

Join members of the Wichita Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for a brunch to support the chapter’s scholarship fund. The morning will include live jazz music, live entertainment performances, a raffle drawing, a silent auction, and more.
